How to participate in the Aggie Auction
The best part about the Aggie Auction is that everyone can be involved. We know that each one of you can think of at least one creative way to help make the Aggie Auction grow in status every year.

Attend the 2008 Aggie Auction
Individual admission may be purchased for $100.00 each. Tables of ten are $900.00. New this year we are adding a sponsorship category of Gold Tables for $2500.00. Gold tables will receive many benefits including priority table placement, customized choices
of beverages on the table for dinner, chauffeur to and from the event, early admission and MORE.

We encourage all guests to bring friends who have yet
to attend the Aggie Auction. This event will be sure to impress even the most experienced of event-goers.

  Donate an Item
Most of the items we receive in the auction come from individual Aggie supporters, alums and friends. From vacation homes to rounds of golf at the local country club, personal donations make the Aggie Auction one of the most unique in the country. Please look through the list of potential auction items to generate some ideas for a potential donation.

• A stay in a vacation home • A case of rare wine • A foursome at a golf course • A collectors’ item • Custom artwork • Sports memorabilia • Ski lift tickets • Professional services • Entertainment tickets • Cash donations • Jewelry • Tickets to a sporting event or play


Provide a Potential Contact or Desired Auction Item
Simply let us know who might be a good contact for us to approach about participating in the auction, or let us know what you would like to purchase at the auction. We will be able to use this information to bring in more donors and make the event more tailored to your needs. If we can find that item, vacation or service that you want, why not buy it from us and benefit the Aggies all at the same time.

Wine Tasting & Hors d’oeuvres
More than 25 of the finest restaurants and wineries will be present to serve their best creations and welcome your questions and comments. During the silent auction, these award-winning restaurants and wineries will share the spotlight with beers from the area's premier microbreweries. This excitement should provide a pleasant start to the evening as you begin to explore the displays in search of your favorite silent auction packages.

Silent Auction
Beginning at 4:30 PM, more than 2000 silent auction packages will be available in the categories of travel, golf, wine, sports memorabilia, professional services and more! Get there early so you can enjoy the friendly competition surrounding this portion of the evening as you try to purchase your favorite vacation package or Aggie sports memorabilia. Associated with all silent auction items is the "Maximum Guaranteed Purchase Price" which allows all bidders to ensure they are the winner of their chosen package. For this reason, we encourage all guests to arrive early so you do not miss out on the early action. Of course, we will also have raffles and fun-filled participatory games which will provide all guests an equal opportunity to win. Throughout the silent auction, a number of student-athletes will be present to answer questions, encourage the bidding and discuss their experiences at UC Davis.

Dinner and the Live Auction
Following the silent auction, guests will be asked to find their table where they will be served a banquet meal. During dinner, Aggie student-athletes will inform you of your successful bids in the silent auction, handle your billing and act as spotters for you during the live auction. With this service, we hope you will more thoroughly enjoy the evening. The evening should conclude prior to 10:00PM which will allow you an opportunity to see the sights of Davis on a lovely spring evening.
